The original tall man in a dolphin
You’ve probably heard the story about the world’s tallest man saving the dolphin by digging in it’s stomach, but believe it or not, it’s been done before!
from a veterinarian acquaintance:
“Been there done that-over 20 years ago. I used to work at a place in CA near SF called Marineworld. One of our dolphins swallowed a long metal bolt after a workman accidentally dropped it into their pool. We called up the Warriors NBA team and their center, Clifford Ray (who remembers him?) came down and stuck his long arm down the dolphin’s throat and pulled out the bolt. And as a bonus he started dating our PR lady-you go Cliff !!”
